PaedDr. Ing. Kateřina Bočková, Ph.D., MBA

Currently a project manager for sport events and many organizational projects. She focuses her practical, scientific research, pedagogical and publishing activities on the economic – managerial area with an emphasis on project management. She currently works as an  assistant professor at the DTI University in Dubnice nad Váhom and holds the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Management and Economics, where she comes into contact with many educational, organizational and research projects.

She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Brno University of Technology, majoring in Economics and Construction Management. As part of her postgraduate studies at the same faculty, she focused on the study and application of project management. She transferred her practical experience to the MBA graduation of a professional training program focused on project management. She received her pedagogical education in the study program Teacher Training in Economic Subjects.

From 2002 to 2011 she was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. In the years 2004-2005 she lead there the Institute of Business Economics.

She is author of many articles and publications in the field of project management, as well as several important books. She lectures in bachelor’s, master’s and MBA accredited study programs at home and abroad and is a lecturer in Project Management in several training and educational facilities.
